Stop - Fuzzy Time

I am stepping away from Facebook and Tumblr because you cannot get away from the latest [expletive deleted] out of DC (and on Tumblr, people include screencaps and don't tag stuff, so even blacklists don't always work). I have hit the 'cannot cope' point - again. Here, everyone, have kitties.

First, the sound of cats purring. (That link is to Ambient Mixer, which has all sorts of background-noise type combinations - including a bunch of fannish ones, if you'd rather wander away from cats.)

I see them now, thanks! Such pretty kitties. I love Siamese. My two are only part-Siamese, and they're both more white than anything. Blue eyes and brown tails, though.

Mariposa is a pure-bred, which means she's got all the Siamese prettiness...but she's got that Siamese voice too, and is not afraid to use it, usually half an hour before my alarm goes off when she is hungry and/or bored and wants to be sure I know it. :wry: Fortunately for her, she's also a cuddler, so she gets away with a lot.
