So. Um. Didn't post all last month.

...not dead!
My old laptop did, however, die, so there was a long stretch where my only means of internettage was my tablet. Which is great and good and beyond useful (I can watch anime on the train on my way to work! :hearts:), but as far as typing goes, not so much.
For those who don't follow my fic journal: the story I wrote for Yuletide was Initial D, Conversations Not About Cars, and sufficiently obvious that my recipient pretty much guessed me, and she's not even on my f-list/dwircle. This is why I don't do the 'guess what fic I wrote!' meme, I'm just saying.
Regarding Snowmageddeon 2013: on the one hand, snow day on Friday! On the other hand, well, I live in an apartment building, so the amount of shoveling I've had to do is way less than pretty much everyone else I've seen post about it. On the other other hand (third hand?), Tanya and I had a mini-marathon of Die Hard Movies That Do Not Suck (i.e. everything but #2), started playing Lego Harry Potter (the first one), and continued watching PSYCHO-PASS (which is totally a dystopia, but I still so want their ability to change clothes by pressing a few buttons. But not the creepy chibi-holo-jellyfish, that's a miss) and NURA: RISE OF THE YOUKAI CLAN (which is kick-ass and adorable and predictable as hell, but I don't care, because still kick-ass and adorable), because we apparently believe in mixing up our influences. Or something. Also there was cinnamon cake and tea.
Other things recently watched: apropos of New Year's Resolution to Actually Finish Series, I have watched DUSK MAIDEN OF AMNESIA (which starts out adorable, takes a left turn into mystery and creepy, then decides to TEAR YOUR HEART OUT just because it can, before whirling around and being happy again - which, um, yay?) and GOSICK (which I suspect I'd have liked better if I'd realized more quickly exactly how alternate the alternate history was going to get - well, that and my favorite characters went and died on me. Dammit). I'm currently working on PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGICA (for which I am not as unspoiled as one could wish, but still enjoying it more than I'd half-expected I would), and KUROKO NO BASKETBALL (because Kuroko is totally a sneaky bastard and I have a weakness for sneaky bastards, apparently).
