Happy Younger Sister's Birthday!

jennariaToday I spent several hours puttering around the house while wearing a set of black cat ears.
This was not my Actual Halloween Costume. Actual Halloween Costume involved a scarlet dress, dangerous heels, judicious make-up, and a sword. (Which translates to War from Good Omens...if War had cut her hair short or something. Photographic evidence will be along eventually.) Interestingly enough, subtracting the sword and adding a long cloak was sufficient to translate the same costume into a recognizable vampire costume, even without the teeth. (Well, mostly recognizable. At least two people guessed I was Little Red Riding Hood, on the grounds that I was wearing red and something with a hood! Which, uh...the long cloak was bright purple. So.)
Current plans for the remainder of Halloween evening are to finish my laundry, and poke at my characters for NaNo. NaNo this year involves a haunted house and a lesbian love story. Originally it was going to be a gay love story, but I write slash all the time, so it was past time to try the other side of things. Yay? The ghost part is probably predictable, but eh, it's my NaNo and I'll be predictable if I want to.
