Well, w00t! As people younger than me sometimes say. It doesn't mean anything, but the general sentiment seems to be positive. In fact, let me rephrase that: Huzzah!
Also, a rant about fanwork not being about going out of character -- although it may be about differing reasonable interpretations, or developments stemming from explicit changes in source material, such as setting the characters down in Ancient Rome instead of New Jersey -- would be very welcome at any time.
