Chi's Sweet Home - 9 episodes - let's face it, sometimes you just want to watch the shenanigans of a cute kitten. ...without having to scoop his litter box afterwards. :glares at her cats meaningfully:

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K - 1 episode - Phenomenal Cosmic Power meets high school life - high school life wins! Or, how having the ability to read minds or teleport does not actually make being a teenager easier. My opinion is subject to change once I get farther in and discover whether this has actual Plot: I've been burned like this before.

Dragon Goes House-Hunting - 1 episode - I was hoping for 'HGTV meets DnD.' Instead, I got a protagonist who spends literally the entire first episode whining, failing at everything he tries, and generally driving me up a wall. I finished the episode only by the grace of fast-forward. Two of y'all said I should continue: tell me why again?

Elegant Yokai Apartment Life - not sure how many episodes because the first season's gone missing and I'm fairly sure I watched that? - Whoops, A Human Has Gotten Involved In The Supernatural, What Now? I picked up this one in the wake of Anime Boston's Tales of Yokai theme (back in 2013, the internet tells me), because I do love a good ghost story, and this is a very Japanese take on the classic Victorian ghost story trope of finding a good apartment for cheap ~and then finding out why~. ...only with less people going insane from finding out, and more wacky hijinx.

given - 3 episodes - hadn't quite gotten to the 'JUST KISS ALREADY' stage (which is absolutely a thing that happened with, say, Kimi no Todoke, mostly because the falling in love seemed to be as much with music as it was with the boys in question. Am still debating whether the angst is worth the slow burn.

Jujutsu Kaisen - 2 episodes - on the one hand, it's your standard shonen show (although it's nice that they've gone for the version where the hero isn't a universally despised failboat before he starts on his Path of Epic Destiny). On the other hand, I liked the characters - which really is the critical thing that keeps me watching any show.

Slow Loop - 1 episode - is it a sports anime about fishing? Is it a shojo anime about 'surprise, we're step-sisters'? Will need to watch more than one episode to see where the beats fall, but the first episode felt soft and sweet.

SPY X FAMILY - 3 episodes - exactly as cute as advertised. I am here for found families, and Lethally Competent People With A Heart of Marshmallow Fluff.
