Completely missed June, apparently.

...still alive!
Last month included, among other things, a trip to Disney World, during which I learned the following:
1) Orlando in late June is, in fact, hell on earth.
1A) ...a very very populated hell on earth.
1B) ...filled with lots of people who pay no attention to anyone around them, which is bad enough when you're stepping out in front of a stroller, but worse when dealing with an electric wheelchair which does not stop on a dime.
2) Disability Services, on the other hand, is lovely. Everyone was nice! Everyone was flexible! 'Can you walk without this for [five steps/five minutes]?' Admittedly it did take until our third and last day at the parks to learn that 'transfer vehicle' does not mean 'a different wheelchair' like it does at the airport (instead, it means 'ride car with a special bigger door to make it easier to get in and out').
2A) Also this meant we got to ride a couple rides twice, because they have multiple load-up points, Wheelchair was on Side A, and the coaster carts alternated between Side A and Side B, so clearly we had to go through again to come back to Side A. (On Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, this meant the family who happened to be sharing our section also got to ride twice, because it was easier to leave the whole cart be than unload and reload a few seats only. They thanked us enthusiastically.)
3) Star Tours changes up where your 'tour' goes! Has for fifteen years at least. We went on three times, and never got a repeat.
4) I have now been to Pandora. Still no desire to see AVATAR or its forthcoming sequels, sorry James Cameron not sorry.
This month has been moving apartments. Fortunately, appeals to the skeletal union via physical therapy were successful, so I have been able to be of active assistance with that. ...we still hired people for the biggest bits, because Wife and I were not trying to tote our sofa anywhere, nope nope nope.
Fannish: uh...we watched the first episode of Kenobi? It appears to be shiny, just haven't gotten back to it on account of moving.
