Dreams of Falling

Alas, I haven't encountered any fic that's changed my view of the character - he really is just kinda an asshole, and even the rare fic I've read where I liked how they handled his character included '...and he *realized* he was an asshole/should literally be on medication for Intermittent Rage Disorder and is Trying To Do Better' as a plot point.
