This is totally why we're married.

First of all: Wife and I hit up a Sam's Club yesterday, mostly to get prescriptions but also to pick up a few more useful things. By the time we left, this included a Huge Bottle of Wine. (Seriously, I could use this sucker as a club against zombies.)

Second of all: we've been running low on Things To Watch Together, so Wife suggested one of the Star Treks. I casually commented that I've never seen Original Trek. (Movies, yes, but Next Generation was my vector into Trek fandom.)

Wife's eyes went wide, and she waved a hand frantically at me.

"What?"

"The wine! DRINKING GAME!"

So that's our plan for the weekend - watch O.G. Star Trek, and try not to die of alcohol poisoning. :innocent look:

We wound up drinking soda, not wine, but it was definitely an interesting time!

I hadn't thought about fandom drinking games in years.

We found three or four different ones, ranging from six or seven rules to four pages. I suppose it depends on how drunk you want to be. :wry:
