The Process of Christmasing

The good news is that all Christmas presents have been procured (and some for next year - we decided to check out a Local Craft Fair that turned out to be Epic, see), and half of them mailed out.

The bad news: Local Post Office only had one station open for mailing packages. :wince: 'Tis the season for long post lines, fa la la la la?

Tis the season for lots of mail strikes, apparently? We often seem to have one around now and my aunt in Toronto says Canada is too...

Gosh, I need to, like, buy presents or something soon.

In fairness to Local Post Office, it's an Itty Bitty Office with all of three windows, only one of which is equipped with a weighing machine that allows people to mail out packages. And Wife and I were sending out a lot of packages, so we were sorta hogging the machine (and the worker attached). Thus the wincing. I don't think we were the sole reason for the line being twice as long going out as coming in, but I'm pretty sure we didn't help.
