Rounding the corner...

jennaria...by which I mean that it's one week to Anime Boston, and I am frantically putting the last touches on costumes. Not as frantically as last year, and not nearly as frantically as the year before that, but still.
Still to do:
*Take in the shoulders on Stef's dress from last year, and remove the ribbon. (We're going to claim she's Wakaba if anyone asks, since she'll be running around with me-as-Watari.)
*Argh goddammit Watari why you gotta wear that pale blue tunic with that collar? I don't want to wear the sweater I used last time, as it really doesn't look the same at all (plus it's way too hot), but I also am unenthused about cobbling together something at the last minute. Pfft. So a-fabric-shopping I got tomorrow, with a side of trying to figure out pattern.
*Finish painting Takumi's uniform cap. (Almost done, just need to touch up the stripes and add on the green!)
*Look around for a white skirt for Stef-as-Natsuki. (She campaigned briefly to cosplay as Ryousuke instead, but he would be even more difficult to pull off than Natsuki is.)
On the bright side, Watari's possible replacement tunic is really the only nasty sewing I've got ahead of me, nothing like last year's marathon. Thank [deity-of-choice] for small favors.
