DRAGONCON!

...no, I have not teleported back to Atlanta for the weekend. (Insert that Road To El Dorado "Stars - can't do it - not today" gif here.) I am attending strictly virtually. On the one hand, much cheaper! On the other hand, my choices are a lot more limited.

Things I am Definitely Going To Watch:

* The Parade. It won't be the same as being there, because that's the nature of parades, but on the other hand - no, wait, never mind, the current prediction for Atlanta this coming Saturday is mid-80s F, mostly cloudy. Perfect parade weather.

* The Masquerade. I do love good cosplay, and I am absolutely gloating about the time difference that means I don't have to stay up until Stupid O'Clock to watch it. ...well, not as stupid.

* Probably some of the other shows and re-broadcasts. They've got Andy Serkis and Elijah Wood on the same panel! That means I can has guilt-free discussion about the Lord of the Rings trilogy, right? Nobody will try to get them to cross the picket line, so to speak, and talk about current projects? ...look, I can hope. Failing that, the re-broadcasts should be safe.
