The first present was a hedgehog, embroidered on a tie. (Of note: every time I say 'embroidered,' read 'I only do counted cross stitch, none of those fancier stitches that look like painting instead of fun with thread pixels.') The second was 'BAH, HUMBUG!!!' on a baseball cap, which was do-able on the stitching part but fresh hell to pull out the threads of the scrap canvas afterwards. (...any time I'm embroidering on clothing, I have to use scrap canvas to keep my thread pixels straight. Then, afterwards, I wet the scrap canvas, the glue holding it together comes apart, and I am /supposed/ to be able to just pull the threads out. In practice, this doesn't work nearly as smoothly as I'd like.)
