At least there's a bright side

Things accomplished so far this weekend:

* Usual Weekend Chores (including going after our carpet with pet-stain remover, as our cats like to leave us presents, dear lord, it's a good thing I love the little furballs)
* Dusting All The Things (including the blinds! ...which we realized needed it after I had dusted the nightstands beneath them. :wince:)
* Vacuuming All The Things
* Mopping All The Tile Floors (actually accomplished by Wife, not me, while I was doing the aforementioned Dusting and Vacuuming)
* Bought, and put on the bed, new Star Wars sheets, partially because the elegant cotton sheets turned out not to be fitting properly (kept popping off the corners of the mattress), and partially because we went to Target last night to get cleaning supplies and failed our saving throw vs. Geekdom. ...the fact that I describe it like that indicates it was a lost cause, but I shall pretend otherwise.

Thing not accomplished so far this weekend:

* Grocery shopping (which really falls under Weekly Chores To Be Done Someplace Other Than In Apartment)
* Re-writing/editing the story due next Saturday for Not Prime Time.

...at least I have a draft finished?

We too did a solid amount of deep cleaning of our house today.

Now I am coveting Star Wars sheets.

Dammit.

OH GOOD - it appears they are not available in king size. So now I don't have to talk myself out of buying them. :-) (Nor in crib size, so the baby doesn't get them either. Sorted.)
