Holy shit.

For various reasons, a lot of stuff that was up in the air is now coming down -- and not into chaos, but into patterns. Which is a poetic way of saying: I am moving in with the amazing girlfriend.

(We have an apartment. An equally amazing one. Ten minutes from where one of my best friends lives. Holy shit.)

(...we move on June 1st. Ohgod.)

Thank you! We get to see Actual Prospective Apartment in three weeks (because we are Doing Things the next two weekends in a row), and make final decision, but all signs appear to be go.

She has people down in Tucson, so sooner or later we are totally coming down there for a vacation. (Probably next year, as her mother gets first dibs on Relative To Be Visited Outside Of New England on account of still having lots of Tanya's stuff.)

Thank you! We spent this afternoon measuring bookshelves. Poor Amazing Girlfriend hadn't quite realized how much Stuff I have - she said she finally realized why I got a little deer-in-headlights at the idea of moving.

Thank you! She mercifully has a lot less stuff than I do - she just finished her master's degree out in Arizona last fall, so most of her possessions can fit into her (fairly small) car. It's mine that are going to require hiring movers. :rueful:
