Blogathon 2010: It's the final countdown
...yes, I am a child of the 80s. :-p
Have done menu planning and grocery shopping and house cleaning (...would you believe house tidying?) and index-card-buying* (and also little pails and shovels - what, we needed something to put the index cards into! Really!). Kris is due here any minute, and Ian is off doing the bits of grocery shopping that were beyond the capacity of one woman sans car.
Mariposa is gravely suspicious of all our hijinx, and by 'our' I mostly mean 'my,' as I was the one who took today off. If I wasn't at work, clearly this was so I could pet the cat, right? She's currently sprawled on the couch to my left, one paw tucked under my leg so she can keep track of me as she naps.
Less than 24 hours before we begin. If you sponsor me, please let me know in a comment so I can keep track. I'm currently at $105 (w00t!). Here goes!
*The index cards are so I can write numbers and Stef can write fandoms, for purposes of randomizing our selections. Or alternatively, so we can do index-card origami and send the cat chasing them across the floor. All sorts of possibilities, yo.
