The thing is, when I was young (once upon a time), even if there was a film, play, popular song, etc that I had not seen or heard or what have you, I still knew OF it, you know? "Kids" nowadays don't even know who Monty Python is. In 2012, when there was a commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, young people were like, 'Wait. That really happened?' All they knew of it was that it was a movie. Egad.
